Bruce and Kathy Norquist Bruce and Kathy Norquist grew up in Washington State. They met while they were attending college and working in student minisries at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. Prior to pioneering this church Bruce spent 20 years in full-time ministry as a pastor, missionary, college theology professor and dean. His education includes a BA in Business from UPS, a M.Div from Fuller Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Kings College in Aberdeen, Scotland. Bruce continues to teach occasional classes in local colleges and seminaries. Bruce enjoys downhill skiing and oil painting. Kathy worked as a teacher and social worker in both secular and Christian settings before being ordained as a pastor. She has degrees in Sociology and Education. Kathy relaxes by walking on the beach, playing Sudoku puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. From their various bases, Bruce and Kathy have traveled to over 20 countries as speakers in conferences, churches, and schools. The Norquists have three children, and three grandsons, who bring them great joy. Their daughter, Sara, works in Seattle. Their son, Matt, works for the Gallup Organizaiton, and currently lives in Chicago with his wife, Deb, and their three sons. Their son, Carl, and his wife, Jenna, live and work in Philadelphia. |

Harvey and Paula Marks Harvey and Paula met in 1973 and have been married for 31 years. They have both been involved in the ministry since they met. they have served in many capacities in the church, but mainly in music and home meetings.. Paula works as the church administrator and administrative assistant to Pastors Bruce and Kathy. Harvey works as the church custodian. Harvey & Paula have one daughter, Amber. She lives in Arizona with her young son and daughter. Harvey loves blues music, playing his guitar, singing and making people laugh. Paula loves singing, bird watching, relaxing on a “sunny” beach and cooking.

Candace Kruger: Candace is our church worship leader. She leads worship along with our great team of musicians and singers. God uses her passion for the Lord and her beautiful voice to lead us into the presence of God. Candace is a senior at SPU, and also works part time as a para-legal in a law office. Candace has a six year old daughter, Emma, who you will often see dancing happily around the church with her friends. |
